Staff Power Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Own vehicle system-level electrical power analyses including ELA, battery sizing, and bus integrity.
• Shape the electrical architecture trade studies and technical power roadmap for the Fury platform.
• Develop vehicle integration-level test plans, verification procedures, and validation criteria for power distribution.
• Ensure all power system designs comply with military standards including MIL-STD-464, 461, 810, and 1760.
• Execute SWaP trade studies and Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (FMEA) to optimize performance.
• Perform circuit and power system modeling using simulation tools like LTspice and SIMPLIS.
• Support ground and flight test campaigns by reviewing telemetry data and diagnosing anomalies.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in vehicle- or aircraft-level electrical power distribution systems and systems integration.
• Demonstrated track record of leading Electrical Loads Analysis (ELA), battery sizing, and power budget calculations for complex aerospace or high-power platforms.
• Proficiency in electrical simulation and modeling software such as LTspice, SIMPLIS, or Multi-Spice.
• Working knowledge of military standards including MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, MIL-STD-810, and MIL-STD-1760.
• Experience conducting SWaP trade studies and FMEA at the vehicle or subsystem level.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret security clearance.
• Active U.S. DoD Secret clearance (or higher) (preferred).
