Electrical Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and develop electronics for airborne EO/IR systems including sensor electronics and power management.
• Develop PCB layouts in collaboration with the electrical engineering team.
• Define and refine system requirements based on physics-based models of sensor performance.
• Conduct troubleshooting and testing of electronic components and subsystems to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform system testing at laboratory, ground, and flight levels while providing detailed data analysis.
• Document test results, system designs, and technical processes to maintain accurate records.
• Support system integration efforts in coordination with technical leads and project teams.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering focusing on system-level design, development, and testing.
• Experience with analog and digital electronics design, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in laboratory skills including setting up and running experiments.
• Familiarity with PCB design tools and methodologies.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Experience in sensor or communication systems such as RF, EO/IR, or optical technologies (preferred).
• Familiarity with analytical tools and programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, or C++ (preferred).
