As an Electrical Engineer 4 within the New Product Development team of the Wet Equipment Technology Systems organization, you will lead the development of next-generation semiconductor wet deposition tools. You will own the electrical architecture, power distribution, controls, and safety circuits, driving system-level technical decisions from concept through production release. Your daily responsibilities include designing distributed automation systems using EtherCAT networks, distributed I/O, servo drives, sensors, and actuators. You will develop functional specifications, conduct laboratory validation, and perform root cause investigations while partnering with cross-functional engineering teams. Required technical skills include proficiency with electrical CAD tools like OrCAD, Zuken, or AutoCAD Electrical. You will ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and manufacturability standards while mentoring junior engineers within the semiconductor equipment domain.

What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 8+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 6+ years’ experience; or equivalent experience.
Strong background in electrical system architecture, industrial controls, and power distribution systems.
Experience designing and releasing complex electrical systems from concept through production.
Hands-on experience with EtherCAT-based machine control systems and industrial automation.
Experience with electrical CAD and design tools such as OrCAD, Zuken, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and system integration skills.
Semiconductor equipment or complex capital equipment experience (preferred).
Experience with Beckhoff/TwinCAT or similar EtherCAT platforms (preferred).
