The Electrical Engineer 4 joins the New Product Development team within the Wet Equipment Technology Systems organization. In this role, you will lead the development of next-generation semiconductor wet deposition tools by driving electrical architecture, control systems, and integration from concept through production release. Your daily responsibilities include designing complex electrical systems, power distribution, safety circuits, and subsystem interfaces. You will implement distributed automation systems using EtherCAT networks, distributed I/O, servo drives, sensors, and actuators. You must utilize electrical CAD tools like OrCAD, Zuken, or AutoCAD Electrical to develop functional specifications. The role requires solving complex integration challenges for semiconductor processing equipment while balancing performance, reliability, and manufacturability. You will also conduct laboratory validation, perform root cause investigations, and mentor junior engineers.

What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 8+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
Strong background in electrical system architecture, industrial controls, and power distribution systems.
Experience designing and releasing complex electrical systems from concept through production.
Hands-on experience with EtherCAT-based machine control systems and industrial automation.
Experience with electrical CAD and design tools such as OrCAD, Zuken, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and system integration skills.
Semiconductor equipment or complex capital equipment experience (preferred).
Experience with Beckhoff/TwinCAT or similar EtherCAT platforms (preferred).
