What you'll do

Design and develop complex electrical systems, sub-systems, and solutions using engineering methods.
Develop functional specifications for electrical, electro-mechanical systems, and power distribution components.
Collect and analyze data to support research and development efforts for electrical system designs.
Perform hands-on testing and validation using lab equipment to characterize system performance.
Design and modify custom and OEM system components with cross-functional engineering teams.
Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate design intent and analysis results.
Act as a technical resource and mentor for junior colleagues.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience, Master’s with 3+ years, or equivalent work experience.
Hands-on experience in electronic circuit design (analog, digital), signal and controls theory, board design, troubleshooting, and validation.
Solid understanding of AC/DC power distribution systems.
In-depth system level understanding of electrical architecture, system integration, and applications.
Working knowledge of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and low voltage circuit design for power and control applications.
Expertise in applying power and controls technologies for systems automation.
Knowledge of CAD tools for circuit design and simulation such as PCAD, ORCAD, ZUKEN, AutoCAD, Spice, ADS, or HFSS.
Experience in semiconductor, industrial, automotive, or military industries (preferred).
