As an Electrical Engineer 4 within the Deposition Product Group, you will design and develop complex electrical systems for equipment used to deposit thin metal films in integrated circuit manufacturing. You will utilize CAD tools such as PCAD, ORCAD, ZUKEN, AutoCAD, Spice, ADS, and HFSS for circuit design and simulation while applying expertise in PCB layout, signal theory, and power distribution systems to solve critical semiconductor manufacturing challenges.

What you'll do

Design and develop complex electrical systems, subsystems, and power distribution components for deposition equipment.
Create functional specifications for electro-mechanical systems and power delivery components.
Conduct hands-on testing and validation using lab equipment to characterize system performance.
Analyze data from R&D efforts to improve existing and future electrical system designs.
Develop specialized controls including PID, pressure control, RF power, and motion control integration.
Create technical reports and presentations to communicate design intent and results during reviews.
Troubleshoot complex systems using network sniffers, protocol analyzers, and formal problem-solving techniques.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 8+ years of experience.
Master's degree with 6+ years of experience or equivalent experience.
Hands-on experience in electronic circuit design, signal and controls theory, and electrical board design.
Experience in troubleshooting and validating systems using lab equipment, network sniffers, and protocol analyzers.
Knowledge of AC/DC power distribution systems and low voltage circuit design for power and control applications.
Proficiency in CAD tools for circuit design and simulation such as PCAD, ORCAD, ZUKEN, AutoCAD, Spice, ADS, or HFSS.
Experience in semiconductor, industrial, automotive, or military industries is preferred.
Ability to communicate technical information through high-quality reports and presentations.
