Edge Processing Solutions Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead the architecture and delivery of edge software products from prototype to fielded capability.
• Build and maintain Go services designed for disconnected and intermittently connected environments.
• Design Kubernetes-native systems including Helm charts, custom controllers, and workload architectures.
• Manage the Kubernetes runtime for edge hardware, including GPU scheduling and air-gapped image distribution.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines to produce signed, scanned, and reproducible artifacts.
• Integrate software with tactical data standards such as Cursor on Target or TAK.
• Mentor engineers, set technical standards, and conduct high-bar code reviews.
• Interface with customers to translate operator needs into technical requirements.

What we're looking for

• 6+ years of experience with software engineering in a professional environment.
• 2+ years of experience in a technical lead or engineering lead role.
• Experience using Go as a primary systems language for production.
• Experience deploying and operating Kubernetes in production.
• Experience with disconnected or air-gapped software delivery, including image syncing and offline package management.
• Experience with Linux at the systems-level, including networking, filesystems, and containers.
• Ability to mentor engineers and raise the technical bar of a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or Computer Engineering.
• Experience with the CoT or TAK ecosystem (preferred).
• Experience in ISR, UAS, or autonomous platform software (preferred).
• Experience with NVIDIA Jetson or edge GPU scheduling (preferred).
• Experience writing or contributing to whitepapers or technical proposal volumes (preferred).
• Experience using Rust or modern C++ for production (preferred).
• Experience using K3S, MicroK8s, or other flavors on constrained hardware (preferred).
• TS/SCI clearance (preferred).
