Edge Processing Solutions Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead the technical architecture and delivery of edge software products from prototype to fielded capability.
• Develop and maintain Go services designed for disconnected and intermittently connected environments.
• Design Kubernetes-native systems including custom controllers, Helm charts, and workload architectures.
• Manage the Kubernetes runtime on edge hardware, including GPU scheduling and air-gapped image distribution.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines to produce signed, scanned, and reproducible software artifacts.
• Integrate ISR sensor pipelines and tactical data standards like Cursor on Target or TAK.
• Mentor a team of engineers while setting technical standards and performing high-bar code reviews.
• Translate customer requirements into technical specifications and support proposal work for new contracts.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Secret security clearance is required.
• 6+ years of experience in professional software engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in a technical lead or engineering lead role.
• Experience using Go as a primary systems language for production.
• Experience deploying and operating Kubernetes in production environments.
• Experience with disconnected or air-gapped software delivery and offline package management.
• Experience with Linux at the systems-level, including networking, filesystems, and containers.
