The ED, Agentic Core IT Processes leads the transformation and modernization of core IT processes by adopting Agentic AI, intelligent automation, and modern software engineering practices. This leader defines and executes the strategy, governance, and operating model for AI agents across the end-to-end Software Development Lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment, operations, and compliance. Key responsibilities include managing workloads, developing functional policies, overseeing application portfolio fitness, and managing major vendor relationships. The role requires expertise in web-based application architecture, system and database architecture, and object-oriented languages. Candidates must navigate complex technical domains including Infrastructure Services, Security, Data, and Application Development. The position solves the business problem of improving delivery speed, quality, and operational efficiency while establishing secure, compliant controls for scaling AI-enabled capabilities across the enterprise.
Define and execute the strategy, governance, and operating model for Agentic AI across the end-to-end SDLC.
Lead the transformation and modernization of core IT processes using intelligent automation and modern software engineering practices.
Establish controls, metrics, and governance frameworks to scale AI-enabled capabilities securely and compliantly.
Manage vendor relationships, including evaluating third-party providers and overseeing contract performance and risk.
Oversee the technical and business fitness of the application portfolio to mitigate costs and risks.
Develop application development strategies that align with business goals, technology standards, and budget constraints.
Ensure all software development activities adhere to SDLC controls, Agile methodologies, and corporate security policies.
Monitor and control risks associated with business activities in accordance with risk and compliance policies.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
10 years of experience in general IT management competencies.
4 years of people leadership experience in building, managing, and developing high-performing teams.
Strong technical background in web-based application architecture, system and database architecture, security application integration, and object-oriented languages.
Extensive experience in all stages of the software development life cycle including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and implementation.
Demonstrated experience in vendor contract management, financial acumen for budgeting and forecasting, and managing distributed development teams.
Understanding of industry frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, SAFe, and legislative/regulatory compliance requirements.
10+ years of experience leading software engineering, delivery, DevSecOps, or SDLC transformation functions (preferred).
