TL;DR · Domain Architect, Content and Experience

Domain Architect, Content and Experience serves as the primary architecture relationship owner for Adobe and Veeva within Global Commercial Business Technology Services. This role manages the ecosystem roadmap, architecture standards, and design review operations for content management, web delivery, digital asset management, and learning management systems. The architect is responsible for overseeing technical strategies for complex programs, enforcing compliance during domain reviews, and translating high-level strategy into actionable blueprints for delivery teams. Key responsibilities include managing the AEM target architecture, defining headless and composable positions, and governing the content supply chain from creation to publication. Essential skills include expertise in Adobe Experience Manager, Veeva Vault PromoMats, CDN and edge delivery, and multi-site architecture. The role addresses technical challenges within a regulated industry, ensuring performance, accessibility, and promotional content compliance across a large portfolio of web properties.

What you'll do

  • Manage the multi-year roadmap and architecture standards for content management, web delivery, digital asset management, and learning management systems.
  • Act as the primary architectural relationship owner for Adobe and Veeva platforms to drive technology adoption and licensing decisions.
  • Lead design reviews to ensure all web, CMS, DAM, and LMS projects comply with established performance and scalability standards.
  • Define technical strategies for complex programs including product selection, solution consolidation, and quality standard enforcement.
  • Author and maintain technical standards for component reuse, multi-site architecture, and content supply chain workflows.
  • Drive the transition to headless and composable architectures while managing the integration between PromoMats and AEM.
  • Oversee audit readiness and remediation efforts to ensure compliance with regulated industry requirements.
  • Mentor internal architects and provide technical leadership to delivery teams and external agencies.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field with 9 years of experience; Master’s with 8 years; or PhD with 4 years.
  • Experience in enterprise, domain, or solution architecture focused on content management, web platforms, or digital experience platforms.
  • Deep architectural experience with Adobe Experience Manager or Adobe Experience Cloud including multi-site and multi-language architecture.
  • Experience architecting and governing a portfolio of many web properties using reuse patterns, platform standards, and decommissioning discipline.
  • Experience with at least two of: DAM platforms, promotional/regulated content review workflows, headless/composable CMS, CDN/edge delivery, or LMS platforms.
  • Working understanding of non-functional requirements including performance, accessibility, AEO/SEO structure, and content security.
  • Experience authoring architecture standards and roadmaps while leading architecture reviews as a governance participant.
  • Experience in regulated industries like pharmaceutical, healthcare, or financial services with knowledge of promotional content compliance.
  • Master's Degree or broad architecture certification (TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect Professional) (preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise/domain architecture with at least 5 years in content management or web platforms (preferred).
  • Adobe Certified Expert or Master for AEM; experience with Veeva Vault PromoMats; and experience with cloud-native or AI-assisted content (preferred).
