The Distinguished Architect joins the Omni Services team to lead the architectural strategy for a unified global platform powering commerce, payments, and financial services. You will define the long-term vision for large-scale distributed systems, consolidating fragmented capabilities into reusable, scalable, and configurable global platforms across multiple international markets. Day-to-day responsibilities include driving modernization for financial services like lending, BNPL, and remittances, while establishing standards for resiliency, security, and observability. You will leverage microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native technologies to solve complex integration problems. The role requires deep expertise in platform architecture and systems integration to support high-volume consumer platforms, ensuring consistent high-quality experiences across digital and physical retail channels while managing regional regulations and market-specific business requirements.
Define and drive the architecture strategy for a global Omni Services platform across multiple international markets.
Lead large-scale platform transformation initiatives to consolidate fragmented capabilities into reusable and scalable global platforms.
Architect highly available distributed systems using microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native technologies.
Drive modernization efforts for financial services including payments, lending, BNPL, and digital commerce integrations.

What we're looking for
Must have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area and 6 years of software engineering experience.
Alternatively, must have 8 years of experience in software engineering or a related area.
Must have 15+ years of software engineering experience.
Must have 8+ years of experience in Architect, Principal Architect, Distinguished Engineer/Architect, or equivalent senior technical leadership roles.
Must have experience defining architecture strategy for globally distributed products and platforms.
Must have experience in Financial Services, Payments, Lending, BNPL, Digital Wallets, Credit, Remittances, or Payment Orchestration platforms.
Must have experience building multi-country platforms supporting regional regulations, payment methods, and market-specific business requirements.
