As a Distinguished Engineer – Private Cloud Platform Engineering, you will lead the technical vision, architecture, and evolution of a next-generation private cloud platform. You will define the long-term roadmap and architectural standards for a multi-region infrastructure ecosystem while mentoring senior engineering talent across various departments. What we're looking for
15+ years of software, infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering experience.
5+ years operating at Principal, Senior Staff, Distinguished Engineer, or equivalent technical leadership level.
Deep expertise in Kubernetes architecture, operations, networking, storage, security, and ecosystem tooling.
Extensive experience with OpenStack services including Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Glance, Keystone, Ironic, and Placement.
Expert knowledge of Ceph architecture, including RBD, RGW, OSD tuning, and multi-site deployments.
Deep understanding of SDN principles and technologies such as EVPN/VXLAN, BGP, and network virtualization.
Strong coding skills in Go, Python, Rust, or Java with expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code.
Experience building private cloud environments that compete with hyperscale capabilities (preferred); experience migrating workloads from legacy platforms (preferred).
