What you'll do

  • Lead and mentor a global team of SDETs and automation engineers across multiple regions.
  • Drive the transition from manual regression cycles to a highly automated, AI-augmented testing model.
  • Execute the end-to-end test automation roadmap for API, UI, and integration suites.
  • Implement GenAI capabilities such as agentic test authoring and AI-assisted defect triage.
  • Manage the quality engineering budget, headcount planning, and vendor contract transitions.
  • Establish and report on key performance indicators including automation coverage and defect containment.
  • Oversee the migration of test management tooling and infrastructure for improved reporting.
  • Partner with cross-functional leads to integrate "shift-left" testing practices into the development lifecycle.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline is required.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience are required.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in software testing, test automation, and software development with hands-on technical expertise are required.
  • 10+ years of experience leading global, multi-region testing teams including direct employees and vendor resources is required.
  • 10+ years of experience driving large-scale test automation transformations to increase coverage and reduce manual effort is required.
  • Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber/Gherkin), Playwright (TypeScript), Selenium, and enterprise test management tools like Zephyr or Octane is required.
  • Direct experience piloting or scaling GenAI/AI-based tooling in a software development or testing context is required.
  • Experience in financial services, capital markets, or credit risk technology is preferred.
