Director, Technical Program Management joins the Global Payment Network Technology organization to manage critical payments infrastructure for high-throughput, secure global transaction processing. This role involves driving architectural alignment, technical strategy, and execution of organizational objectives while improving scalability and system resilience within the engineering lifecycle. The individual will manage complex technical dependencies, oversee cross-functional engineering roadmaps, and lead a team of Technical Program Managers to build the foundation for the TPM practice. Key responsibilities include identifying risks, simplifying complex technical concepts for stakeholders, and ensuring robust delivery of global financial infrastructure. Required expertise includes experience with distributed computing, cloud computing services like AWS, and Agile delivery. What we're looking for
At least 7 years of experience managing technical programs.
Experience designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing (preferred).
3+ years of experience building distributed systems and highly available services using cloud computing/architecture, preferably AWS (preferred).
3+ years of experience building highly scalable mobile products and platforms (preferred).
3+ years of experience with Agile delivery (preferred).
3+ years of experience delivering large and complex programs where you own the vision and collaborate with cross-functional teams (preferred).
Experience in building systems and solutions within a highly regulated environment (preferred); MBA or Master's degree in a technical field (preferred).
