What you'll do

Lead, mentor, and coach technical teams to implement solutions for sophisticated business problems.
Build and optimize technology solutions using modern programming languages like Python, Java, and SQL.
Build and maintain data integrations with internal systems, 3rd party vendors, and BlackRock Aladdin.
Implement and integrate 3rd party tools to support specific operations functions.
Drive future state operations solutions using automation, generative AI, and machine learning techniques.
Provide leadership on the end-to-end delivery of technology solutions for Global Investment Operations.
Design and develop applications and data structures using cloud services like AWS or Azure.

What we're looking for

8+ years of hands-on experience as a software engineer designing, developing, and operating applications and data.
Proven experience in a senior technology or engineering role.
In-depth understanding of the fixed income investment management domain.
Strong knowledge of database design, data structures, and algorithms.
Hands-on experience coding applications using SQL, Python, Power BI, and Java.
Experience with cloud services such as Azure or AWS.
Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and develop a team (preferred).
Excellent problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and communication skills (preferred).
