What you'll do

Lead the engineering architecture and implementation of cloud-based data engineering and AI platforms.
Define and communicate multi-year product roadmaps aligned with business priorities and technology goals.
Manage complex, cross-functional enterprise initiatives across distributed systems and microservices architectures.
Automate build, test, and deploy workflows using CI/CD, TDD, and DevOps best practices.
Oversee vendor relationships, including contract negotiations, SLA governance, and third-party platform oversight.
Architect and deploy real-time and batch data pipelines using AWS services, Python, and Spark.
Ensure integration of observability, logging, and monitoring capabilities across all analytics platforms.
Partner with cybersecurity and compliance teams to ensure secure handling of workforce data.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, MIS, or a related field and six years of experience as a Director, Software Engineering.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, MIS, or a related field and four years of experience as a Director, Software Engineering.
Experience architecting, building, deploying, and monitoring real-time and batch pipelines for data engineering.
Expertise architecting and deploying data pipelines on AWS using IAM, Glue, S3, Lambda, EKS, Jenkins, Python, Airflow, and Dynamo DB.
Expertise implementing cloud-based ML or data engineering pipelines using AWS EMR, RDS PostgreSQL, Redshift, Athena, and Step Functions.
Expertise developing real-time streaming and batch data pipelines using Kafka, Apache Spark, Python, and AWS.
Expertise building and maintaining data engineering or AI pipelines using Jenkins, Terraform, SQS, API Gateway, and Dynamo DB.
Experience with Agile delivery models including Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
