Develop and enhance compliance monitoring products using Java and Scala to ensure investment decisions follow market and internal rules.
Design and implement highly scalable, high-performance investment compliance systems using event-driven architecture.
Build distributed, fault-tolerant, and highly concurrent applications using Pekko, Scala, and actor-based concurrency models.
Optimize real-time data processing using Aerospike, Oracle database tuning, and Snowflake analytics.
Implement end-to-end observability and performance diagnostics using OpenTelemetry, DataDog, Grafana, and Prometheus.
Translate business vision into functional architectural strategy recommendations and lead cross-functional architecture design teams.
Research and recommend new technologies and models to support the strategic direction of the business unit.

What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field and six years of experience as a Director, Software Engineering.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field and four years of experience as a Director, Software Engineering.
Experience designing complex, Java-based real-time distributed systems within an investment or compliance technology domain.
Expertise in analysis, design, and implementation of scalable, high-performance investment compliance monitoring systems using event-driven architecture.
Expertise in developing distributed, fault-tolerant, and highly concurrent applications using Pekko, Scala, and actor-based concurrency models.
Expertise in performance optimization using Aerospike, Oracle database tuning, and scalable real-time ingestion pipelines into Snowflake.
Expertise in end-to-end observability and performance diagnostics using OpenTelemetry, Micrometer, DataDog, Grafana, and Prometheus.
Proficiency in developing software using Java, Scala, Excel VBA, and SQL.
