As the Director, Product Management, CPO and Silicon Photonics, you will join the Datacenter Networking Business to lead global product management and strategy for next-generation optical interconnect solutions. You will define product requirements, roadmaps, and lifecycle management for Co-Packaged Optics hardware and silicon platforms while collaborating with architecture, ASIC, systems, software, and go-to-market teams. The role requires deep technical proficiency in silicon photonics, modulator technologies, lasers, and underlying silicon process technologies. You must possess comprehensive knowledge of data center hardware, including rack-level construction, power, cooling, and cabling for AI and cloud fabrics. Key responsibilities include translating hyperscaler requirements into differentiated networking products and presenting strategies to executive leadership. Essential skills include systems-level technical depth, business insight, and the ability to manage complex transitions within high-performance networking environments.
Define the long-term strategy and product vision for Co-Packaged Optics (CPO) hardware and silicon platforms.
Manage the full product lifecycle including planning, implementation, and technology transitions for optical interconnects.
Develop technical requirements and roadmaps for next-generation ASICs, systems, and networking platforms.
Translate customer and hyperscaler requirements into differentiated networking products for AI and cloud datacenters.
Lead cross-functional teams across hardware, firmware, software, and operations to deliver integrated networking solutions.
Present product strategies and portfolio progress to executive leadership, customers, and industry partners.
Influence global engineering and business teams to drive the development of advanced optical interconnect technologies.
What we're looking for
BS/MS in Engineering or equivalent experience.
15+ years of overall experience with 8+ years in silicon photonics development or technical support roles within the networking industry.
Deep knowledge of silicon photonics, process technologies, packaging, modulator technologies, and lasers.
Comprehensive knowledge of data center hardware, rack-level construction, and physical infrastructure including server, networking, power, cooling, and cabling.
Experience leading product strategy development and delivery in complex global organizations as a senior IC or people leader.
Strong blend of systems-level technical depth, business insight, and critical thinking.
Outstanding communication skills and confidence when sharing ideas at the executive level.
Experience with product management, marketing, customer interface, and launching technical infrastructure products (preferred).
