JOB TITLE: Director of Product Management, Marketplace and Developer Technologies
The Director of Product Management, Marketplace and Developer Technologies leads the product team responsible for the third-party app distribution experience for developers across iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS. This leader defines the vision, strategy, and optimization for App Store Connect, TestFlight, App Analytics, and developer marketing tools. Key responsibilities include overseeing product safety, alternative app distribution, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with engineering, design, and business teams. The role requires expertise in mobile app industry services, B2B SaaS products leveraging LLM and GenAI technologies, and data analytics. The position solves complex marketplace platform challenges by balancing innovative feature development with product safety requirements to improve the developer experience and drive business impact across the global app ecosystem.
Define the product vision and strategy for third-party app distribution, growth tools, and marketplace technologies.
Lead the development of features for App Store Connect, TestFlight, and App Analytics across all Apple platforms.
Advocate for developer-centric feature prioritization on the engineering roadmap to secure cross-functional resource commitments.
Craft marketing and communications strategies to drive developer adoption and public awareness for new feature launches.
Drive key product decisions for regulatory and compliance initiatives impacting developer and customer experiences.
Measure product impact and direct market research priorities to inform long-term business strategy.
Interact with executives to build product visions, perform opportunity sizing, and report on business outcomes.
Develop corporate development strategies and suggest M&A activity based on mobile app industry expertise.
What we're looking for
15+ years of experience in a senior role leading product development for developer experiences for mobile-centric B2B services, two-sided marketplaces, and/or business data analytics services.
Experience building B2B SaaS products that leverage LLM and GenAI technologies to deliver easy-to-use interfaces.
Experience developing innovative products while fulfilling compliance and product safety requirements.
Experience in mobile gaming or subscription services (preferred).
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven track record of influencing partners and navigating ambiguity (preferred).
Experience engaging effectively with high-level executives and managing/developing a team (preferred).
Ability to operate between highly detailed technical situations and strategic business situations (preferred).
BS degree or equivalent experience; JD or MS/MBA a plus (preferred).
