Key responsibilities include managing capital planning, ensuring portfolio performance, and leading the transition toward a future-state operating model. The role requires expertise in construction, infrastructure, and laboratory equipment within complex matrixed environments to solve challenges related to facility operations, site safety, and large-scale infrastructure development for advanced manufacturing facilities.

What you'll do

  • Define and execute the global portfolio strategy for Workplace, Infrastructure, and Lab Operations.
  • Lead a global organization of category managers to deliver value across diverse indirect spend categories.
  • Serve as the primary executive business partner to align procurement activities with corporate growth objectives.
  • Develop multi-year roadmaps and governance frameworks to manage risk and improve stakeholder experience.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team through recruitment, coaching, and succession planning.
  • Manage strategic supplier relationships by transitioning them from transactional interactions to long-term partnerships.
  • Drive the adoption of AI-enabled tools and digital transformation to improve procurement efficiency.
  • Oversee the transition to a future-state category management operating model across all global regions.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction Management, Finance, Architecture, Real Estate, Operations, or a related discipline.
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience.
  • 10+ years of experience leading global teams and managers.
  • Experience leading category management organizations and managing large global spend portfolios.
  • Background in Workplace, Infrastructure, Facilities, Construction, Real Estate, Engineering Services, Laboratory Operations, or similar environments.
  • Demonstrated experience with organizational design, transformation, and executive stakeholder management.
  • Experience leading supplier governance and SRM programs within complex global and matrixed organizations.
  • Semiconductor industry experience; advanced manufacturing; capital construction; workplace/IFM expertise; laboratory operations expertise; MBA, CPSM, CIPS, CPM, or PMP (preferred).
