Director, IT Data & AI Product Owner – PDM & Tech Ops leads the AI and data product strategy for the PDM and Tech Ops teams to accelerate processes and deliver therapies faster. Key responsibilities include translating business objectives into technical requirements, prioritizing backlogs based on value, and ensuring compliance with GxP and 21 CFR Part 11 regulations. The role requires expertise in AWS, Databricks, and Agile delivery to solve complex problems in clinical development, manufacturing, and supply chain analytics within a regulated environment.

What you'll do

Define and lead the multi-year product strategy and roadmap for AI-enabled Technical Development and Quality capabilities.
Act as the primary interface between PDM/Tech Ops stakeholders and IT to shape how AI improves knowledge management and decision-making.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of AI Delivery Leads, Data Scientists, and Product Managers.
Translate complex business objectives into technical requirements while ensuring alignment with data architecture and platform constraints.
Prioritize the product backlog based on business value, risk, technical feasibility, and enterprise strategy.
Manage vendor and partner strategies for product support, including external development capacity and AI/LLM capabilities.
Drive change management and user adoption through training, communication strategies, and feedback loops.
Ensure all products comply with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11, and regulated SDLC processes.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience or a Master's/PhD with 10+ years of experience in a relevant field.
Experience leading AI and data product portfolios and managing cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of clinical development processes, including trial operations and data management.
Ability to translate complex business problems into scalable AI solutions.
Knowledge of AI/data platforms such as AWS and Databricks.
Experience in Agile product delivery environments.
Experience in PD, Quality systems, and understanding of CMC, manufacturing, and supply chain analytics (preferred).
Experience applying AI/ML in clinical trials or development, including exposure to generative AI use cases (preferred).
