Director, Government Relations, State and Local (California)

What you'll do

• Develop and execute strategic engagement plans for state and local policymakers.
• Design and lead strategies to enhance Anduril's positioning in the industry at state and local levels.
• Coordinate visits and events at Anduril facilities with government officials and stakeholders.
• Draft and manage white papers, presentations, and testimony for policy initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze annual policymaking processes to support company priorities.
• Build coalitions and maintain relationships with key state and local officials and industry groups.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 8 years experience in government relations or California state executive/legislative arena.
• Extensive knowledge of California legislative and economic development processes.
• Ability to build coalitions and maintain relationships with key officials and industry groups.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team on short and long-term goals.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30% or greater for state and national level engagements.
• Lobby registration in California, local jurisdictions, and other states required.
