Director, Global Master Data Management & Data Governance

What you'll do

• Own the global Master Data Management (MDM) data landscape and ensure alignment with organizational business objectives.
• Manage the MDM systems landscape by leading a team to deliver on infrastructure priorities.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical training to members of the Global Master Data Management organization.
• Establish and maintain metrics to drive continuous process improvements across various MDM domains.
• Partner with internal teams to define requirements for programs interfacing with Enterprise Data Warehouses and Lakes.
• Identify and resolve deficiencies in department systems while leading initiatives to improve operational performance.
• Develop content, training materials, and tools to help staff access data within MDM applications.
• Make independent decisions regarding policy recommendations and present them to senior leadership.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of work experience, preferably in a related field.
• Prior people management experience is required.
• Experience creating Enterprise or Business specific Master Data Management strategies for multi-faceted data architecture and AI readiness.
• Proven track record of leading teams to achieve quality improvements and developing training materials for others.
• Strong project/account management, testing strategy, and experience managing outsource partners on time and budget.
• Proficiency in PC software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Windows is required.
• Experience with process improvement tools like SFE or LEAN/Six Sigma (preferred); experience as an analyst or with call center support (preferred).
