What you'll do

Lead and manage multiple teams of product-focused software engineers to deliver scalable solutions.
Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of engineers within your organization.
Translate business goals into high-level technology platforms and long-term architectural roadmaps.
Oversee the transition of monolithic applications into microservice architectures in AWS environments.
Ensure the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of all delivered software solutions.
Drive talent strategy including recruitment, succession planning, and skill development for engineering teams.
Establish coding standards and technical architecture guidelines for enterprise platforms.
Improve delivery velocity by optimizing software engineering practices across multiple Agile teams.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
At least 5 years of people management experience.
At least 7 years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, enterprise architecture, cloud computing, and data architecture.
Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (preferred).
10+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, enterprise architecture, cloud computing, and data architecture (preferred).
10+ years of professional experience coding in languages like Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, or Scala (preferred).
8+ years of experience with database and database management systems (preferred).
10+ years of experience in the full lifecycle of system development, networking protocols, and mentoring senior engineers (preferred).
