The Director, Field Enablement & Adoption is a senior people leader responsible for ensuring that digital tools, AI enabled workflows, and new ways of working become standard practice within the field. You will lead a dedicated enablement and adoption team focused on readiness, workflow translation, hands-on learning, and sustained behavior change. Your daily responsibilities include designing and executing scalable enablement programs, such as role-based training and sandbox environments, while translating complex digital and AI capabilities into practical, confidence-building experiences for field teams. The role requires deep technical fluency in modern digital tools, workflow platforms, and AI-assisted experiences like copilots and automation. You will manage the transition of technology into practical changes in how work is performed, specifically addressing the challenge of integrating new technologies into complex, matrixed environments within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors.
Lead and develop a team of leaders focused on technical fluency and field credibility.
Design and execute adoption strategies for new tools, workflows, and AI-enabled capabilities.
Deliver structured, scalable enablement programs including learning series, role-based training, and sandbox environments.
Translate complex digital and AI capabilities into practical, confidence-building experiences for the field.
Ensure AI-enabled workflows are introduced with clear intent, guardrails, and usability considerations.
Define and track adoption signals such as usage patterns, confidence indicators, and friction points.
Establish feedback loops with field teams to identify where enablement or reinforcement needs adjustment.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university is required.
A STEM, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent technical background is strongly preferred.
8+ years of experience in digital enablement, workflow transformation, product adoption, or execution-focused roles in complex organizations is required.
Proven people-leadership experience building and developing high-credibility, field-facing teams is required.
Strong technical fluency across modern digital tools, workflow platforms, and AI-assisted experiences is required.
Demonstrated ability to translate technology into practical changes in how work gets done is required.
Experience supporting large, geographically dispersed field or customer-facing organizations (preferred).
Hands-on experience with enablement models such as sandboxes, role-based learning, and continuous reinforcement (preferred).
