Senior Director, Cloud Engineering

What you'll do

• Develop and manage the company's cloud systems vision, architecture, standards, and multi-year strategy.
• Lead a high-performance team to deliver on departmental objectives and corporate goals.
• Design and implement technical processes for transitioning workloads to cloud infrastructure.
• Manage the performance, security, and cost optimization of all cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with security teams to align on policies and manage risk.
• Partner with Finance to monitor and optimize cloud expenditure against budget goals.
• Ensure all systems comply with relevant regulatory and compliance standards.
• Establish audit processes and documentation for cloud procedures to ensure operational consistency.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must independently possess the eligibility to work in the United States at the date of hire.
• A bachelor's degree in computer information systems or computer science is typically required.
• Candidates must have 15 or more years of experience managing complex cloud infrastructure.
• Candidates must have at least 8 years of leadership experience.
• Extensive experience designing and managing scalable solutions using AWS services is required.
• Experience developing and operating platforms at Web-scale (IaaS, PaaS, and/or SaaS) is required.
• Strong familiarity with DevOps and SRE best practices to improve velocity and operational reliability is required.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are required.
