What you'll do

  • Lead AI/ML engineering organizations through a management layer to ensure operational excellence.
  • Manage and grow operating budgets, forecasts, and P&L responsibilities at scale.
  • Make and defend build-vs-buy and architectural decisions for enterprise-scale AI/ML systems.
  • Translate business strategy into multi-year technical roadmaps and oversee their execution.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, model risk management, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with cloud and AI service providers.
  • Drive succession planning, performance calibration, and the resolution of significant organizational conflicts.
  • Develop KPI frameworks and manage SLAs across multiple business units and programs.

What we're looking for

  • Degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 12 years of professional experience.
  • At least 4 years of management experience.
  • Proven leadership of AI/ML engineering organizations through a management layer.
  • Experience with finance and P&L ownership at scale.
  • Deep technical credibility in AI/ML systems, including ML lifecycle, data architecture, and LLM deployment.
  • Experience operating in a regulated or high-compliance enterprise environment.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S, now or in the future, without the support from McKesson.
