What you'll do

  • Establish a technology vision and strategy for AI engineering, generative AI, and machine learning platforms.
  • Define and execute a roadmap for autonomous, multi-step agentic AI systems.
  • Lead the adoption of large language models and multimodal AI to create differentiated customer experiences.
  • Architect and govern AI workflow pipelines that connect generative AI and traditional ML models into business processes.
  • Lead and develop a 40+ member team of engineers and contractors across ML Ops and AI development.
  • Establish responsible AI governance practices including safety, bias mitigation, and compliance guardrails.
  • Partner with leadership to deliver AI/ML services for omni-channel front-end experiences like websites and mobile apps.
  • Collaborate with legal and security teams to ensure all AI features meet data governance and privacy requirements.

What we're looking for

  • BA/BS Degree required.
  • Master's Degree a plus.
  • 10+ years' experience in AI engineering, generative AI, or Data Science/Machine Learning or related engineering field.
  • 5+ years' experience managing direct reports.
  • Experience with large language models (LLMs), agentic AI frameworks, and AI automation platforms is highly preferred.
  • ML Ops experience is a plus.
  • Experience with lean/agile development processes.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
