As a Digital Security Engineer within the Small Medium Enterprises and Channel team, you will lead technical efforts to drive AI and digital transformation for customers and partners. You will be responsible for executing solution sales strategies, selling cloud services, and conducting technical presentations, workshops, and architecture design sessions. Your daily work involves identifying and diagnosing technical blockers, preparing technical insights, and orchestrating complex solutions with internal and external partners. You will utilize expertise in extended detection and response (XDR), zero trust, cloud security, and the Microsoft Purview portfolio to help clients protect sensitive data and manage regulatory compliance. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft and non-Microsoft cloud-based security and compliance solutions, architectures, and technologies to secure organizations against competitive threats.
Lead technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and architecture design sessions for Microsoft solutions.
Execute solution sales strategies by leveraging various programs, offers, and cloud services for managed customers.
Orchestrate complex solutions with internal and external partners for multiple Microsoft online services.
Identify and diagnose technical, architectural, and competitive blockers to ensure successful solution implementation.
Drive technical and business outcomes by preparing insights and owning discussions against security domain competitors.
Enable AI and digital transformation momentum for customers, partners, and Microsoft.
Support customer acquisition efforts at the top of the funnel for new cloud technologies.
Manage regulatory compliance requirements and maintain customer and employee privacy for sensitive data.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
4+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience, or equivalent experience (preferred).
4+ years of experience with cloud and hybrid, or on-premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.
Certification in relevant Microsoft or industry technologies or disciplines (preferred).
Expertise in extended detection and response (XDR), zero trust, and cloud security.
Experience with Microsoft Purview portfolio and managing regulatory compliance requirements.
Ability to lead technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and architecture design sessions.
