Digital Communications Director

What you'll do

• Define and execute the overarching vision for Cloudflare’s corporate digital channels to reach tech-savvy audiences and enterprise buyers.
• Shape and scale the personal digital brands of executive leadership by turning complex trends into compelling narratives.
• Manage corporate social media accounts across platforms like X, LinkedIn, and YouTube while expanding into technical communities.
• Translate complex technical milestones into creative and accessible content for a broad audience.
• Act as a primary node in crisis management to provide swift, accurate digital responses during internet-scale events.
• Establish measurement frameworks to track brand sentiment, share of voice, and engagement data to optimize strategy.

What we're looking for

• Must have 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, digital strategy, or brand journalism.
• Must have at least 4+ years leading high-performing digital or social teams in the B2B tech or SaaS space.
• Must possess deep technical literacy regarding cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity to communicate with engineers and product managers.
• Must be fluent in the algorithms and subcultures of platforms including LinkedIn, X, Reddit, YouTube, and Threads.
• Must demonstrate the ability to lead cross-functional teams across Legal, Product, Policy, and Investor Relations.
• Must have a proven ability to translate complex technical milestones into engaging digital content for diverse audiences.
• Must be able to manage crisis communications and rapid response for internet-scale events.
• Must be authorized to receive software or technology controlled under U.S. export control laws.
