The role requires expertise in manufacturing engineering, electronics/electro-mechanical assembly, and production execution within a regulated aerospace and defense environment. Key competencies include proficiency in Earned Value Management, risk management, First Article Inspection, and navigating complex contract requirements such as SOW, PWS, and FAR/DFAR/CDRL standards.

What you'll do

  • Review customer contracts to allocate requirements and budgets across appropriate departments.
  • Ensure all manufacturing activities conform strictly to customer-furnished design drawings and technical data packages.
  • Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule to track deliverables and on-time delivery performance.
  • Manage configuration control by incorporating engineering changes, deviations, and waivers into work instructions with full traceability.
  • Perform make/buy analyses and oversee prototype and first-article builds through production readiness.
  • Monitor manufacturing costs and perform cost-to-complete analyses to manage program budgets.
  • Maintain a Manufacturing Risk Register to identify and mitigate cost, schedule, and technical risks.

What we're looking for

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience, plus minimum 5 years of experience; or a Master's degree, plus minimum 3 years of experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, or a related Science/Engineering field (preferred).
  • Experience in manufacturing engineering and operations within a regulated aerospace or defense environment.
  • Proficiency in manufacturing cost and schedule management, including IMS development and Earned Value Management principles.
