What you'll do

Oversee technical performance to ensure requirements are validated, integrated, tested, and verified across all engineering efforts.
Develop and maintain engineering plans while managing risks and opportunities through established change management processes.

Conduct engineering status reviews and provide necessary materials for program reviews to implement corrective actions.
Resolve technical issues and communicate outcomes clearly to all affected parties and stakeholders.
Provide leadership input on new business opportunities, internal research, and expansion initiatives.
Prepare cost and schedule estimates for various design tasks.
Identify opportunities to apply AI technologies for continuous improvement and innovation.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required.
Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics with 8 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 6 years of experience.
Experience overseeing program technical performance to ensure requirements are validated, integrated, tested, and verified.
Ability to manage engineering resources including staff assignments, capital equipment, and organizational interfaces.
Experience preparing cost and schedule estimates for design tasks (preferred).
Proven success with Agile practices and processes in a DoD setting (preferred).
Demonstrated ability to lead geographically separated teams and broker consensus among diverse stakeholders (preferred).
