What you'll do

Oversee engineering projects to ensure high-quality deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Manage engineering resources, including staff assignments, capital equipment, and subcontracted efforts.
Ensure all system requirements are validated and that the total system is integrated, tested, and verified.
Manage project risks, opportunities, and the formal change management process.
Resolve technical issues and communicate solutions to all affected parties across project artifacts.
Develop and maintain engineering plans while ensuring adherence to established engineering practices.
Lead large proposals by identifying cross-business unit strengths and addressing technical shortcomings.
Conduct monthly status reviews and perform lessons learned analyses after each major project phase.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required.
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field plus 15 years of relevant experience.
Master's degree plus 13 years of relevant experience.
Expertise in project management for large programs (>$50M) and large engineering teams (>50).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
Knowledge of various project life cycles, including Agile.
Ability to apply project leadership principles such as SPI/CPI, Earned Value, Cost Account Management, and Statistical Process Controls.
