Defense Solutions Architect

What you'll do

• Lead technical solution development and architecture visioning during capture, shaping, and pre-RFP phases.
• Translate customer mission needs into actionable solution concepts across digital, cyber, autonomy, and AI/ML domains.
• Produce technical volumes, architecture diagrams, compliance matrices, and other supporting artifacts for bids.
• Evaluate competitor approaches and teaming strategies to ensure solutions are differentiated and winnable.
• Partner with capture, pricing, and technology leads to shape bills of materials and basis-of-estimate inputs.
• Align technical solutions with specific defense acquisition pathways like OTAs, SBIR/STTR, and Commercial Solutions Openings.
• Build and maintain reusable solution assets that scale across multiple pursuits and accounts.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, or a STEM field.
• 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, systems engineering, or product design.
• Experience developing technical solutions and architectures in areas like autonomous vehicles, MBSE, DevSecOps, AI/ML, or networks.
• Experience supporting defense capture, proposals, or technical solutioning in a government or government contracting environment.
• Knowledge of the defense industry and the U.S. government acquisition process.
• Ability to author technical volumes, solution narratives, or written proposal artifacts.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
