What you'll do

Develop and enforce data governance policies regarding classification, retention, protection, and movement.
Define and implement data quality standards, metrics, and validation processes for sensitive financial information.
Conduct regular data quality assessments and audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of PII.
Manage data lifecycle activities including retention schedules and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Ensure seamless data flow across systems while optimizing integration solutions with IT teams.
Establish data stewardship roles and provide training to stakeholders on governance concepts.
Advise senior leadership on the strategy, structure, and storage of critical organizational data.
Lead the Data Management and Movement team to ensure high-quality and compliant data services.

What we're looking for

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
The role requires at least 5 years of industry-relevant experience.
At least 3 years of prior management experience is typically required.
Proficiency in data governance, SQL, metadata, and Python is required.
Experience with data quality, lineage, and regulatory data compliance is required.
Candidates should have expertise in data integration, retention policies, and lifecycle management.
Preferred skills include data mining, machine learning, big data management, and business intelligence.
Knowledge of data architecture, warehousing, and information management is preferred.
