What you'll do

  • Manage the delivery of data products, dashboards, reports, and system upgrades for federal programs.
  • Develop project plans, resource allocations, deliverable schedules, and risk management logs.
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison to translate business questions into analytical solutions for stakeholders.
  • Oversee the design and deployment of Tableau or Power BI dashboards for self-service analytics.
  • Lead large-scale data preparation, integration, and automation using SQL, Python, R, and Databricks.
  • Guide the application of statistical methods, modeling techniques, and geospatial analysis to solve complex problems.
  • Mentor a remote team of analysts and scientists while providing technical direction and performance guidance.
  • Ensure rigorous quality assurance for all datasets, documentation, and automated data workflows.

What we're looking for

  • U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, quantitative, or related field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Economics, or Public Policy.
  • 5+ years of experience interpreting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data in complex environments.
  • 3+ years of managing data, analytics, business intelligence, product, or technical projects; Agile or iterative delivery experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of supervisory, team lead, project management, program management, or product management experience.
  • Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in at least one scripting or statistical language such as R or Python.
  • Deep Tableau experience is required; Power BI experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Databricks, ETL/ELT, and advanced statistical modeling; geospatial analysis and cloud environments are preferred.
