Data Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance data pipelines and platforms.
• Analyze business requirements to design end-to-end solutions including ingestion, transformation, modeling, and serving layers.
• Implement complex ETL/ELT workflows optimized for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Manage Delta Lake capabilities such as schema enforcement, evolution, and data versioning.
• Negotiate data contracts and define SLAs with Product, QA, and upstream system owners.
• Debug complex issues involving distributed processing, high data volumes, and latency challenges.
• Enforce data governance, security, and compliance standards within Databricks environments.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing through code reviews and process improvements.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Five years of experience in the job offered or a related field.
• Two years of experience using SQL to debug and fix application-related issues.
• Two years of experience using Java to build and enhance applications.
• Two years of experience using Python to build and enhance applications.
• Two years of experience using MySQL to write queries for data investigation and troubleshooting.
• Two years of experience using Databricks to build and maintain scalable data pipelines.
• Two years of experience using Amazon S3, GitLab, API calls, and Katalon for development and testing.
