Data Engineer I

What you'll do

• Build and support integrated data solutions to power business analytics and machine learning.
• Ensure data is high-quality, accessible, and easy for the organization to use.
• Transform complex data into understandable and actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Optimize marketing investments and enhance customer experiences through data analysis.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless data integration.
• Implement security best practices including encryption and secure data transfer protocols.
• Manage large-scale datasets using big data frameworks like Hadoop and Spark.
• Maintain and manage various database systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.

What we're looking for

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Degree must be completed within the past 3 years or expected to be completed within the next 12 months.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, data-driven approaches, AI literacy, and a cloud-first mindset is required.
• Experience or familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB is required.
• Experience or familiarity with big data frameworks like Hadoop and Spark is required.
• Preferred experience with RESTful API design and development for data integration.
• Preferred knowledge of business intelligence tools like Tableau and full-stack development.
