What you'll do

Manage hardware system development from initial concept through delivery of prototypes and data collection systems.
Lead cross-functional engineering teams across PD, EE, Optics, Firmware, and Test/Calibration disciplines.
Drive system definition, resource management, and the creation of project milestones and timelines.
Identify and mitigate non-technical risks while communicating program status to executive management.
Coordinate design and fabrication reviews with multi-functional partners to ensure technical alignment.
Manage Contract Manufacturer (CM) operations including material drive, assembly fixture readiness, and test station qualification.
Oversee the development of complex components such as PCBAs, mechanical housings, and high-level assemblies.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree or higher in a hardware engineering field such as ME, EE, Optics/Photonics, or Systems Engineering.
Minimum 4+ years of combined engineering and program management experience.
Experience with AR/VR, cameras, sensors, or machine learning is preferred.
Proven ability to manage hardware development from concept through delivery, including prototype and data collection systems.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams across PD, EE, Optics, Firmware, and Test/Calibration disciplines.
Proficiency in managing program schedules, cost estimates, and risk mitigation for complex technical projects.
Experience working with Contract Manufacturers (CM) on PCBA, mechanical housings, and high-level assemblies.
Strong communication skills to synthesize complex technical information into actionable reports for executive management.
