Data Center Network Operations Engineer

What you'll do

• Maintain the operational availability of the global data center environment.
• Manage remote contractors and vendors to complete datacenter tasks across 330+ cities.
• Leverage AI tools to automate repetitive tasks and accelerate troubleshooting or root-cause analysis.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including SOPs, MOPs, and infrastructure plans.
• Support and configure network infrastructure as required.
• Participate in a shared on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 global network availability.
• Develop and implement consistent processes and visibility measurements for infrastructure management.

What we're looking for

• Experience with Juniper, Cisco, and DWDM network equipment.
• Minimum of 4 years of Linux systems administration experience.
• Experience managing and instructing remote contractors.
• Familiarity with standing up infrastructure in remote colocation facilities.
• Experience running and improving operational processes and automation tooling in rapidly changing environments.
• Familiarity with day-to-day Data Center Operations tasks like deployment, migration, and decommissioning.
• Ability to handle basic program management responsibilities such as prioritization, planning, and status reporting in JIRA.
• Bachelor’s degree.
