Network Deployment Engineer As a Network Deployment Engineer, you will join the team responsible for building and expanding the global network infrastructure. What you'll do

Execute the build-out and expansion of Cloudflare's global network infrastructure.
Manage remote contractors to complete hardware installations and upgrades across global data centers.
Develop and implement consistent processes and visibility measurements for infrastructure management.
Create rack elevations and coordinate the racking and cabling of infrastructure globally.
Coordinate the installation of cross-connects to support physical network expansion.
Write scripts to develop internal tools and automate deployment tasks.
Identify and implement cutting-edge technology and automation solutions to improve scalability.

What we're looking for

Minimum of 2 years of related data center or Linux systems administration experience.
Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems administration and network hardware administration.
Experience with configuration management tools such as Saltstack, Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
Ability to write scripts for internal tools using Bash, Python, or Go-lang.
Familiarity with data center operations, including infrastructure projects and DCIM tools.
Experience managing remote contractors and coordinating global infrastructure installations.
Authorization to receive software or technology controlled under U.S. export control laws.
Bachelor’s degree.
