Cybersecurity Network Engineer

What you'll do

• Oversee, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot complex IT and OT network infrastructures to ensure maximum uptime.
• Lead the engineering analysis, testing, and deployment of complex network configurations for sustainment activities.
• Serve as the primary technical authority for high availability, secure data transport, and resilient communication paths.
• Identify areas requiring urgent mitigation upfront to develop systems with advanced technology solutions.
• Manage the sustainment, optimization, security, and lifecycle management of mission-critical networks.
• Ensure network security requirements are accurately prioritized and captured in government funding requests.
• Perform technical analysis of cybersecurity architectures and execute architecture-focused Cyber Risk Assessments.
• Develop threat scenarios to support Cyber Tabletop (CTT) exercises.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years of experience as a cybersecurity or network engineer supporting Major Defense Acquisition Programs.
• Experience providing input to the Risk Management Framework process and documentation.
• Experience executing architecture-focused Cyber Risk Assessments or performing technical analysis of cybersecurity architectures.
• Experience developing threat scenarios to support Cyber Tabletop (CTT) exercises.
• Experience with network engineering solutions such as routers, firewalls, switches, software defined networking, and virtual networks.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies.
• Ability to brief senior leaders and translate technical requirements to non-technical audiences.
• Top Secret clearance.
• DoD 8140 Intermediate Certification such as Security+, GCIH, GICSP, or SSCP Certification.
• Experience with space-based remote sensing systems or ground satellite operations centers (preferred).
• Experience developing system security Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and defining baseline system security requirements (preferred).
• Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills (preferred).
• TS/SCI clearance (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Information Assurance, Information Security, or a related technical field (preferred).
• Master’s degree in Engineering, IT, Information Assurance, Information Security, or a related technical field (preferred).
• DoD 8140 Advanced Certification such as CISSP-ISSEP, CISSP-ISSAP, GDSA, CCNA, CCNP, CCSP, or GCIA Certification (preferred).
