Cybersecurity Engineer, Mobile & AI Application

What you'll do

• Perform ethical penetration testing on Visa mobile and Mac assets to simulate real-life security vulnerabilities.
• Develop automated tools and scripts to optimize security testing processes and internal cybersecurity workflows.
• Create mobile security guidelines, requirements, and standards for product development and enterprise deployment.
• Integrate architectural risk assessments and threat modeling into the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Analyze security gaps in mobile technologies and frameworks to implement remediation practices and reduce risk.
• Use AI to create, enhance, and optimize all team processes and business-as-usual operations.
• Research mobile platform releases and functionalities to establish and scale consistent security practices.
• Define and implement simplified security metrics to enable executive and operational staff to act on risks.

What we're looking for

• Must have 2+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of relevant work experience without a degree.
• Masters graduates must have at least 2+ years of relevant work experience to qualify.
• Must have strong experience with one or more programming languages: Node, Python, Java, or Swift (strongly preferred).
• Must have a deep understanding of all current AI technologies, protocols, and AI-dev related tooling like Claude Code.
• Must have a proven track record of implementing and integrating remediation strategies for OWASP Top 10 and CWE 25.
• Must understand mobile application and platform security concepts, with a deep understanding of those platforms.
• Must be a highly effective communicator with solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with Docker, containerized deployments, and specific security tools like Burp Suite or Kali Linux is preferred.
