Cybersecurity Engineer FedRAMP

What you'll do

• Execute and lead advanced security assessments for client information systems.
• Advise clients on FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST RMF compliance requirements.
• Conduct system and network vulnerability scanning using tools like Nessus, ACAS, and NMAP.
• Identify and validate remediation actions and mitigation strategies for discovered vulnerabilities.
• Lead technical discussions regarding security architecture, authentication protocols, and cryptography.
• Prepare original assessment reports, attestations, and customer-facing compliance documentation.
• Provide expert guidance on secure cloud architecture and risk mitigation activities.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or Technology is required.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain an active SECRET Security Clearance.
• 3+ years of experience performing or participating in FISMA-based security Assessment and Authorization activities.
• Expert knowledge of Cloud Computing, FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST/DoD RMF, and NIST SP 800-series publications.
• Strong technical background in security engineering, secure architecture, network security, authentication protocols, and cryptography.
• Experience with tools such as Nessus, ACAS, DB Protect, WebInspect, NMAP, and DISA STIGs/STIG Viewer.
• Must hold at least one industry certification from the approved list, such as CISSP, CISA, or CCNA Security.
• Ability to travel up to 25% for client engagements.
