JOB TITLE: Cybersecurity AI Forward Deployed Engineer - FDE - Consultant
As a Cybersecurity AI Forward Deployed Engineer - FDE - Consultant, you will join the Reinvention Delivery Engine Pod to work embedded within a client’s technology organization. You will function as a production engineer, using agentic coding as your primary delivery method to build security tooling, detection systems, and governance frameworks. You will utilize Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot to secure LLM systems, multi-agent pipelines, RAG architectures, and MLOps infrastructure. Your core responsibilities include threat modeling, prompt injection hardening, and managing AI-specific threat surfaces across AWS, Azure, or GCP. You will solve complex problems regarding AI supply chain security, model extraction prevention, and identity management, ensuring that production AI deployments are resilient, governed, and aligned with enterprise security architecture and commercial outcomes.
Support AI security architecture and threat modeling for production agentic deployments across complex client environments.
Build AI-powered detection systems and automated threat response tooling using agentic coding tools like Claude Code or Cursor.
Manage AI-specific threat surfaces including prompt injection hardening, model extraction prevention, and adversarial input defenses.
Architect and govern AI security controls for identity, data pipelines, and model serving across cloud platforms.
Implement AI governance frameworks such as the EU AI Act and NIST AI RMF on live production systems.
Develop risk-adjusted investment cases and security architecture roadmaps for client CISO and CTO leadership.
Publish reusable security patterns, playbooks, and accelerators to scale security practices across multiple client engagements.
Lead threat modeling workshops and code-with sessions with client engineering and security leadership teams.
What we're looking for
Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in production environments with cybersecurity depth in AppSec, SecOps, cloud security, IAM, offensive security, or GRC.
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience designing and deploying agentic AI solutions in a production environment.
Minimum 3 years of experience with cloud platform security fundamentals across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years work experience).
Associate's degree with a minimum of 6 years of work experience.
Proven ability to communicate security risk in business terms to CISO or CFO stakeholders.
Ability to use agentic coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot as the primary build environment.
