Cyber Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Engineer enterprise solutions that align with best practices to support mission-critical objectives.
• Design, implement, and configure Windows enterprise architectures including Active Directory, DNS, and GPOs.
• Configure Linux environments using RHEL operating systems and Ansible automation platforms.
• Manage virtualized environments using technologies such as vSphere, ESXi, and software-defined networking.
• Automate engineering tasks and repetitive processes using scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Maintain backup and recovery solutions, storage provisioning, and data protection protocols.
• Create detailed network design and configuration diagrams for small to large networks in Visio.
• Conduct product research and selection on COTS technologies to integrate with existing IT infrastructure.

What we're looking for

• Must possess a Master's degree with 0 years of experience or a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Active Top Secret / SCI security clearance is required.
• Must have a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or be able to obtain an IASAE II (CISSP preferred) within six months.
• Experience designing, deploying, managing, and upgrading virtualized environments and their components.
• Comprehension of systems engineering principles, theories, and concepts.
• Direct experience in systems engineering activities such as requirements decomposition, architecture, design, implementation, and testing.
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, Bash, or YAML (preferred); knowledge of Atlassian products, VDI technologies, and monitoring tools (preferred).
