Cyber Compliance Specialist

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and manage policies and procedures to ensure database and software security.
• Interpret and apply enterprise cybersecurity policies such as Acceptable Use of IT Assets.
• Conduct cyber risk assessments, evidence reviews, and compliance checks.
• Manage compliance with Privacy, NIST, RMF, and FISMA policies and procedures.
• Synthesize cyber risk, system posture, and compliance gaps into actionable remediation plans.
• Support continuous RMF compliance cycles, risk mitigation workflows, and security-control documentation.
• Lead or coordinate compliance readiness for audits, assessments, or enterprise governance activities.
• Review and guide the activities of junior employees.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience interpreting and applying enterprise cybersecurity policies.
• Experience conducting cyber risk assessments, evidence reviews, and compliance checks.
• Experience with IA or cybersecurity IA policies and procedures, including Privacy, NIST, RMF, and FISMA.
• CompTIA Advance Security Practitioner (CASP+), CompTIA Security+, or Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) Certification.
• DoD 8140 or CWF-aligned Certifications.
• Experience with continuous compliance platforms, automated compliance tooling, or industry standard tools like Tenable or Splunk (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree.
