What you'll do

  • Lead the research, design, development, and implementation of algorithmic modules.
  • Perform feasibility studies and concept selection for classical and ML/DL based computer vision algorithms.
  • Develop machine learning models for defect detection, classification, metrology, and image analysis on semiconductor tools.
  • Prototype algorithm approaches to solve complex problems based on specific customer use cases.
  • Conduct algorithm validation and benchmarking on large datasets using data-driven approaches.
  • Write and maintain optimized, production-quality code in C++, Python, or other relevant languages.
  • Integrate algorithms into inspection tools while optimizing performance for available compute resources.
  • Productize new algorithmic solutions that meet specific technical requirements and specifications.

What we're looking for

  • Candidates must have a Master's degree with at least 4 years of experience or a Ph.D. in computer science, electrical engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience working in the semiconductor industry is preferred.
  • Candidates must possess a strong background in computer vision, image processing, and deep learning technology.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and Python is required.
  • Candidates must have experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Knowledge of GPU programming using CUDA or OpenCL is required.
  • Familiarity with AI coding tools is desired.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
