Algorithm Developer

What you'll do

• Develop and evaluate data science modeling algorithms using complex time-series sensor data from semiconductor equipment.
• Perform algorithmic concept and feasibility analysis including problem analysis, data gathering, and literature reviews.
• Develop executable data science solutions that provide differentiated insights to the engineering team.
• Build data and modeling pipelines in collaboration with the software engineering team for internal platform integration.
• Fine-tune algorithm performance and troubleshoot issues within the modeling pipeline.
• Document algorithmic development and oversee the implementation, integration, and testing of modules.
• Provide technical instruction and guidance to other algorithm developers on specific modules.

What we're looking for

• Master’s degree with 6+ years of demonstrated achievement with hardware-oriented analytics.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, or statistical data analysis techniques like regression and time series analysis.
• Good understanding of domain knowledge including sensors and semiconductor processes.
• Experience in data extraction, cleaning, signal processing, and visualization for large datasets.
• Excellent programming skills including Python, data science packages, React, and SQL.
• Ability to conduct technical communication with colleagues globally.
• PhD degree with 3+ years of demonstrated achievement with time-series data analysis of machinery tools (preferred).
• Hardware or process engineering experience in the semiconductor industry (preferred).
