As a CV and ML Engineer within the VCV organization, you will join a team of computer vision and machine learning engineers building real-time 3D perception and spatial understanding technologies. You will be responsible for designing, building, and shipping core 3D perception technologies by developing algorithms and systems that enable 3D spatial understanding. Your daily work involves training and optimizing deep learning models, constructing and maintaining training data pipelines, running experiments to improve model quality and efficiency, and integrating these models into real-time production software systems. You will utilize Python, PyTorch or JAX, and potentially C++ for performance-critical integrations. The role focuses on solving complex problems in 3D vision, geometric deep learning, foundation model architectures, multi-view geometry, depth sensing, camera models, and 3D reconstruction to power on-device machine perception technologies.

What we're looking for

Master's degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
Experience in deep learning with demonstrated work in 3D vision or geometric deep learning.
Proficiency in Python and modern deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or JAX.
Strong mathematical foundations in machine learning and computer vision.
Experience with foundation model architectures and training methodologies.
Experience with large-scale distributed training, model parallelism, and model optimization for production deployment.
Familiarity with 3D computer vision concepts such as multi-view geometry, depth sensing, or 3D reconstruction.
Proficiency in C++ or experience integrating ML models into performance-critical systems.
