The Customer Engineering Architect joins the team to design and implement next-generation accelerated computing and AI solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. This role involves engaging directly with customers to architect and deploy complex HPC and GPU clusters, AI platforms, and intelligent agentic solutions across proof-of-concept and production environments. Key responsibilities include building automated solutions for cluster provisioning, software deployment, and infrastructure as code while optimizing for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. The position requires proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, Slurm, Kubernetes, Python, Rust, Go, Java, or Scala, alongside Linux administration skills. You will solve technical challenges related to LLM-based applications and robotic AI platforms, authoring SME-level technical collateral and collaborating with engineering teams to influence product direction and ensure operational readiness for high-performance computing requirements.
Architect and deploy large-scale GPU, HPC, and AI infrastructure on OCI using Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
Build automated solutions for cluster provisioning, software deployment, infrastructure as code, and performance monitoring.
Support the architecture, design, and production readiness of LLM-based applications and agentic AI systems.
Act as a technical advisor to customers and internal teams to define and validate high-performance computing solutions.
Troubleshoot infrastructure performance, scalability, and reliability issues while driving rapid remediation for service-impacting incidents.
Author SME-level technical collateral, including reference architectures, deployment guides, and implementation patterns.
Partner with engineering teams to influence product direction and integrate new OCI services into customer-ready solutions.
Document infrastructure designs, configurations, and operational procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and repeatability.
What we're looking for
Must have 6 to 10+ years of experience.
Must have 5+ years of experience in Architecture, Operations, and/or System Engineering.
Must have recent technical experience designing and/or deploying infrastructure and high-performance computing, including GPU technology, or at least one major public cloud.
Must have experience in scripting and automation using tools like Python, Ansible, Terraform, and/or Kubernetes.
Must have Linux skills with hands-on experience in Oracle Linux/RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu, and Debian distributions.
Must have a solid understanding of cloud foundations, networking concepts, and security principles.
Must have strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Proficiency in Python, Rust, Go, Java, or Scala (preferred).
